Day 1

Arrival at Edinburgh Airport-Welcome by Ventus Golf Representative- transfer to the Roxburgh Hotel for a four night stay. On arrival enjoy a glass of Scotch while you register to kick-start your vacation.

            Evening Dinner is included this evening in the Melrose restaurant.  

The 5*Roxburghe Hotel is centrally situated amidst the Georgian splendour of Charlotte Square, close to the heart of the city’s beautiful New Town, offering easy access to the exclusive Charlotte Square gardens. And when you’re staying at this Edinburgh city centre hotel you’ll have the pick of Edinburgh’s tourist sites and superb shopping & restaurants right on your doorstep.

 

Day 2

Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast before travelling to Gullane No 1 Golf course for a round of Golf, a Caddie is included. Lunch will be served in the clubhouse following play.

The eighteen holes of Gullane No.1 Course were established in 1884. The well maintained greens, links grasses, numerous bunkers and sea breezes make a unique challenge for the serious golfer.                       

The 3rd hole was recently voted one of the top 500 holes in the world by Golf Magazine (USA). The world famous view from the highest point of the Course is on the 7th tee where you have views over to Edinburgh, Fife and way beyond.


 Day 3

After breakfast a visit to Edinburgh Castle, and a guided Tour of Edinburgh City.

Your afternoon is free to have lunch or afternoon tea, do a bit of shopping or simply relax.

 Day 4

After breakfast you shall travel to Muirfield for a round of Golf, a Caddie is included. Lunch is served in the clubhouse after play.

Golf was first played at Muirfield in 1891 on 18 holes laid out by Old Tom Morris. Restricted by stone walls that completely surrounded the course, the original layout occupied 117 acres.

Muirfield hosted the first Open Championship to be played over 72 holes in 1892 and then again in 1896.

Day 5

After breakfast, check out of the Roxburghe Hotel and you will travel to St Andrews.

On arrival at St Andrews, check into the 4*Rusacks Hotel for a three night stay. A round of Golf has been arranged on the Jubilee course which includes a Caddie.

Lunch is served in the Clubhouse before play.

 

Day 6

After breakfast you will have a free day to sightsee or possibly play the Old Course if you have entered into the ballot, or a visit to the British Golf Museum.

 

Day 7

After breakfast you will travel to Kingsbarns for a round of Golf over this magnificent links course only six miles away. A caddie is included. Kingsbarns is one of the courses that is host to the Dunhill Links Championship every year. Lunch is served in the Clubhouse following play.

 

Day 8

After breakfast check out of Rusacks Hotel and travel to Edinburgh airport for your departure.
